Job summary

CareDx is seeking a Sr. Manager of Accounts Payable to lead the AP function, ensuring timely payments and strong internal controls. You will manage a team, optimize workflows, and partner with Accounting, Procurement, Treasury, and other stakeholders to scale operations.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years AP experience, 3+ in leadership, and a proven track record in SOX-compliant environments, with NetSuite and Coupa proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong understanding of AP processes, P2P workflows, and accounting principles.
• Experience operating in a SOX-compliant environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite) and AP automation tools (Coupa).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of AP professionals.
• Establish roles, responsibilities, and manage performance expectations.
• Foster a high-performing, service-oriented culture focused on accuracy.
• Manage capacity, workload prioritization, and skill development.
• Ensure timely processing of invoices and payments per policy and SLAs.
• Oversee payment runs and ensure compliance with approvals.
• Monitor AP aging and drive issue resolution.
• Build relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Resolve vendor inquiries and payment disputes promptly.
• Own AP process requirements and optimize workflows in Coupa and NetSuite.
• Drive initiatives to increase electronic payments and reduce manual processes.
• Support supplier portal adoption and vendor onboarding.
• Oversee fraud prevention controls and vendor validation.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, including segregation of duties.
• Prepare for audits and walkthroughs.
• Identify control gaps and lead remediation.
• Own AP close activities and aging review.
• Provide reporting on AP performance and trends.
• Collaborate with Treasury on cash flow planning.
