Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Senior Logistics Analyst to support our client, a leading international logistics provider, on a fully remote basis while coordinating with operations in Randburg, Gauteng. You will dive into logistics data, build dashboards, forecast demand, and drive cost reductions across the supply chain.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in logistics analytics, strong SQL/Python/R skills, and experience with Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in a quantitative field such as OR, statistics, economics, logistics.
• 6+ years of experience in logistics analysis or supply chain analytics.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, R and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI).

Responsibilities

• Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for KPIs.
• Model and forecast demand, capacity, and costs within the supply chain.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and sales to implement improvements.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to analytics team development.
