MaxIT Consulting — Max Corporate Group is seeking a Senior Linux/SDET Engineer for a global technology organization, focusing on test strategy, automation, and system-level validation for a Linux-based AI compute environment.

The ideal candidate has deep Linux kernel, C development, virtualization, debugging, and performance testing expertise, with scalable test automation. This is a remote, full-time role requiring collaboration across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in software/systems engineering or related field.
• Strong background in Linux kernel internals and low-level systems.
• Proven ability to design and execute automated test strategies.
• Experience with virtualization, debugging, and performance benchmarking.
• Experience building CI and automated testing for large-scale systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead testing and validation strategy for Linux kernel infrastructure supporting AI and compute environments.
• Design and scale automated test frameworks focused on performance, reliability, and security.
• Develop test suites for kernel enhancements and infrastructure changes.
• Migrate and validate kernel/virtualization modifications across platform versions.
• Troubleshoot complex low-level system issues in test and simulated production environments.
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to engineers.
