Job summary

Transamerica is seeking an IT - Business Analysis professional to support underwriting transformation initiatives and modernize processes across IT and business teams. The role emphasizes gathering requirements, documenting current states, and driving improvements within complex information systems.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in business systems analysis, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience managing technical projects in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education/experience, preferably in IT or a business area discipline.
• Minimum of 5 or more years of experience in business systems analysis.
• 2-4 years of industry experience also preferred.
• Two years of experience managing technical projects in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements with underwriting project team and stakeholders to ensure alignment with IT goals.
• Prepare 'as is' and 'current state' documentation (flows) for analysis.
• Create business process models using BPM techniques and tools.
• Lead development of new or revised processes in lieu of system development.
• Analyze business unit requests, determine solutions, and communicate impacts to IT and Operations.
