Job summary

SirsiDynix, Harris company is seeking a Senior Proposal Writer to lead compliant, strategic proposals for library systems and related services. This fully remote role is available in the US or Canada.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to respond to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs from academic, public, and special libraries, ensuring alignment to functionality, interoperability, and total cost of ownership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Library Science, Information Systems, or related field.
5–10+ years of proposal writing experience, preferably in Library technology/EdTech SaaS serving public sector or education.
Strong writing, editing, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end proposal development for library system procurements; ensure compliance and strategic alignment.
Develop clear responses covering Circulation, Cataloging, Acquisitions, ERM, and interoperability.
Craft executive summaries and value narratives, tailor messaging by segment.
Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Support to validate accuracy and drive proposals.
Manage proposal timelines and drive cross‑functional content reviews and approvals.
