Job summary

Beacon Hill Staffing Group is seeking a Senior Legal Collections Coordinator for a 100% remote position. You will manage full-cycle collections for attorney and client accounts, communicating with attorneys and high-net-worth clients about balances and payment status.

You will analyze aged receivables, develop SOPs, and generate reports to track AR performance. Candidates should have law firm or professional services collections experience and be proficient in running Excel reports.

Qualifications

• Experience with collections at a law firm or in the professional services industry.
• Experience with running reports in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full-cycle collections process for a portfolio of attorney and client accounts.
• Communicate professionally with attorneys, partners, and high-net-worth clients regarding outstanding balances and payment status.
• Analyze aged receivable reports and prioritize collection efforts to reduce delinquent balances and improve cash flow.
• Develop and document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for collections activities and departmental workflows.
• Leverage Aderant to monitor, track, and report on collection activity and AR performance.
• Create and maintain ad hoc reports related to aging, collections performance, cash receipts, and receivable trends.
• Partner with attorneys to develop collection strategies for complex or sensitive client matters.
• Research billing disputes, payment discrepancies, and client concerns to facilitate resolution.
• Monitor trust and estate receivables and ensure collection efforts align with firm policies and client expectations.
