Qualifications

• Design and build large-scale distributed backend systems with high throughput and low latency.
• Experience with multi-tenant SaaS architectures, isolation and rate-limiting.
• Mentor engineers in design patterns and system design principles.
• Hands-on cloud, containers, and serverless patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performance integrations and adapters for 24x7 operations.
• Architect distributed microservices following cloud-native patterns.
• Build and optimize data pipelines across REST, SOAP, GraphQL, gRPC.
• Drive RFCs and architectural reviews; mentor juniors on design principles.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing for operational health.
• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, and SRE to deliver features and fix incidents.
• Champion testing, security hardening, and performance optimization.
• Contribute to platform infrastructure and developer experience.
