Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java & Azure Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable, cloud-native applications. You will collaborate with product, architecture, security, QE, DevOps, and operations teams to build modern software while upholding engineering practices.

This remote, US-based role emphasizes Java/Spring Boot, Azure integrations, CI/CD, and DevSecOps, with opportunities to mentor engineers and influence engineering standards.

Competenze

• 5+ years of software engineering experience across modern web apps, APIs, data stores, and distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, API development, and cloud-native app design.
• Experience designing secure, maintainable, and testable software with OO principles and design patterns.
• Experience building cloud-native, containerized, event-driven solutions, including asynchronous integrations.
• Strong DevSecOps experience across CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, dependencies and security scanning.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, IaC, cloud config, secrets management, and environment promotion strategies.
• Strong troubleshooting and observability across applications, integrations, data, pipelines, and cloud platforms.
• Ability to provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, mentor engineers, and collaborate across teams.

• Design, develop, test, and support secure, reliable software aligned with architecture and standards.
• Develop Java/Spring Boot APIs, web and PWA features, Azure integrations, data-access components, and containerized workloads.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, security checks, and repeatable deployment processes.
• Apply security-by-design practices across authentication, authorization, secrets management, and least-privilege access.
• Mentor engineers, provide code-review feedback, and establish reusable engineering patterns and standards.
• Proactively identify technical risks and drive resolutions with stakeholders.
