Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java & Azure Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable cloud-native applications. You will collaborate with product, architecture, security, QE, DevOps and operations teams to build modern solutions and establish strong engineering practices.

This remote role in the United States focuses on Java/Spring Boot APIs, Azure integrations, CI/CD pipelines, security-by-design, testing, and mentoring engineers.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with full-stack development across web applications, APIs, data stores, and distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, API development, and cloud-native application design.
• Experience building cloud-native, containerized, and event-driven solutions, including asynchronous integrations.
• Strong DevSecOps experience across CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, dependency and security scanning, source control, and deployment controls.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, infrastructure as code, cloud configuration, secrets management, and environment promotion strategies.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, test, and support secure, reliable, and maintainable software aligned with approved architecture and engineering standards.
• Develop Java/Spring Boot APIs, modern web and PWA capabilities, Azure integrations, data-access components, and containerized workloads.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and quality controls, security checks, branch protections, and repeatable deployment processes.
• Apply security-by-design practices across authentication, authorization, secrets management, sensitive data, dependencies, logging, and least-privilege access.
• Mentor engineers, provide actionable code-review feedback, and establish reusable engineering patterns and development standards.
• Proactively identify technical risks and delivery roadblocks and collaborate with stakeholders to drive resolution.
