Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation in the United States is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java & Azure Engineer to design and deliver secure, scalable cloud-native applications, collaborating across product, architecture, security, QE, DevOps, and operations teams to build modern applications and establish strong engineering practices.

In this role, you will design, develop, test, and support secure software; develop Java/Spring Boot APIs, Azure integrations, and containerized workloads;

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with full-stack development across web apps, APIs, data stores, and distributed systems.
• Strong hands-on Java, Spring Boot APIs, and cloud-native application design.
• Experience with secure, testable software using OO principles and design patterns.
• Experience building cloud-native, containerized and event-driven solutions.
• DevSecOps experience across CI/CD, automated testing, and security scanning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support secure, reliable software aligned with architecture and standards.
• Develop Java/Spring Boot APIs and Azure integrations, data-access components, and containerized workloads.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment controls.
• Apply security-by-design practices across authentication, secrets management, logging, and least-privilege access.
• Mentor engineers, provide code-review feedback, and establish reusable patterns and standards.
• Identify risks and roadblocks and collaborate with stakeholders to drive resolution.
