Job summary

ChaTeck Inc. seeks an experienced Java developer to design and build web applications and services for public and internal users. You will update legacy systems, implement secure authentication, and contribute to AWS CI/CD pipelines while aligning with data security standards.

The role requires deep Java/JEE expertise, strong PostgreSQL skills, and experience with JSF/PrimeFaces, RESTful APIs, and modern testing frameworks. Remote work is possible with on-site as needed.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience with Java Core, JEE, JPA, and JPQL.
• 5+ years of experience with JSF/PrimeFaces.
• 10+ years of experience with PostgreSQL SQL and PL/pgSQL.
• 5+ years of experience with Cloud / AWS.
• 5+ years of experience with RESTful web services.
• Knowledge of WCAG compatibility.
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java applications and web services for public and internal users.
• Update existing Java web applications with new enhancements.
• Build web applications using Java frameworks, favoring EJB and JSF.
• Develop APIs using PostgreSQL for data storage and queries.
• Implement authentication using OAuth2 or OpenAM.
• Contribute toward CI/CD pipelines in AWS.
• Ensure data security standards and encryption.
• Analyze requirements and design system features.
• Collaborate with developers, engineers, and SMEs to meet requirements.
• Investigate technologies for architectural review and continuous improvement.
