Job summary

enGen is seeking a highly capable Storage Engineer to help design, develop, and maintain our IT storage solutions. You will work with infrastructure, networks, applications, and analytics teams to ensure performance, reliability, and scalable storage architectures across the enterprise.

The role involves monitoring, capacity planning, data backup and recovery, disaster and cyber recovery testing, and contributing to governance and security best practices.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience designing, coding, testing and implementing technical storage solutions and providing production support with adherence to scope, dates and budgets.
• 5 years of technical problem solving and cross-team collaboration.
• 5 years of CS fundamentals and OS, development languages or scripting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, test, implement, and automate technical IT storage solutions.
• Provide production monitoring, capacity management, and storage ecosystem support.
• Assist in data backup, recovery, DR and cyber recovery testing.
• Collaborate on storage architectures aligned to enterprise goals and standards.
• Gather requirements from IT, product, analytics and business teams to deliver storage solutions.
• Provide progress updates and escalate issues to leadership as needed.
