Job summary
enGen is seeking a Storage Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and maintain technical IT storage solutions ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability across the infrastructure, networks, and applications.
The role involves collaboration with IT, product, analytics, and business teams to translate requirements into robust storage implementations, with ongoing support, documentation, and adherence to industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in storage design, implementation and support.
- Experience with cloud storage platforms and enterprise storage systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, test, implement, and automate storage solutions.
- Provide production monitoring and capacity management for storage.
- Assist in data backup, recovery, DR, and cyber recovery testing.
- Collaborate on storage architecture to align with enterprise goals.
- Gather requirements from IT, product, analytics and business teams.
- Report progress and risks to leadership with minimal defects.
- Document processes and participate in technical reviews and knowledge sharing.
- Mentor junior engineers as needed.
- Stay current with relevant technologies and best practices.
