Job summary

Our partner seeks an IT Project Manager with extensive experience in planning, deploying, and sustaining facility control systems and critical network infrastructure. This fully remote role requires residence in the Pacific Time Zone and occasional travel to Petaluma, CA.

The ideal candidate will lead technical planning, documentation, and security efforts for technology refresh initiatives across wastewater, water, energy, Wi‑Fi, and metering networks, ensuring compliant and reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in IT project management, team leadership, and systems maintenance within defined constraints.
• Ability to document meetings, decisions, and outcomes and drive issues toward resolution.
• Proven experience with facility control systems and network deployment.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills for breaking down complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support planning, deployment, implementation, and sustainment of facility control systems, including upgrades and replacements.
• Oversee technology refresh initiatives for wastewater treatment, water production, energy, Wi‑Fi, training, and advanced metering infrastructure networks.
• Coordinate planning, development, documentation, installation, and ongoing support for modernized systems.
• Prepare and maintain documentation to obtain Authority to Operate (ATO) approval for refresh systems.
• Provide information security support to maintain system integrity and compliance.
• Maintain equipment inventories, system status, and maintenance documentation.
• Assist with engineering drawings and updates as needed.
• Support and administer facility management software systems for operations and maintenance.
• Lead project activities within constraints and foster collaboration across teams.
• Document meetings, decisions, and outcomes to support progress and issue resolution.
• Break down complex work into manageable tasks and plan delivery.
• Prepare monthly project status reports.
