First Citizens Bank seeks a Senior IT Manager – Infrastructure Cloud Platforms to lead a multi-disciplinary team responsible for Private Cloud, Public Cloud, and container environments. You will drive reliability, automation, and governance across VMware VCF, AVS, AWS, Azure, and OpenShift.

The role partners with architecture, security and risk to ensure controls, audits, and incident responses align with regulatory requirements and business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
• 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience.
• 5+ years in leadership or management roles.
• Experience with VCF, Azure, AWS and OpenShift in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of Private/Public Cloud and Container environments.
• Coach and develop infrastructure engineers and system admins.
• Ensure high availability through proactive monitoring and incident management.
• Oversee lifecycle management including patching, upgrades, and governance.
• Collaborate with security, risk, and audit teams to meet regulatory requirements.
