Job summary

Life360 is hiring a Senior Software Engineer II, an AI Builder with strong iOS skills, to own the problem and deliver end-to-end on a global monetization roadmap. You’ll work closely with product to translate proposals into shipped features for 100M+ MAU while expanding into new regions with compliant pricing and payments.

You’ll prototype quickly using AI tooling, own pricing and localization flows, and mentor other engineers in a fast, AI-native engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of iOS software engineering experience shipping production apps at consumer scale.
• Experience owning a problem end-to-end, with AI coding assistants as a daily tool.
• Experience with in-app purchases and regional pricing, localization, and regulatory differences.
• Experience shipping to multiple App Store storefronts, including regional pricing and localization.
• Strong proficiency with Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit; knowledge of modern iOS toolchain.
• Experience with iOS architecture patterns (MVVM, TCA, Clean Architecture, modularization).
• CI/CD for iOS and release management tools.
• Ability to communicate technical trade-offs clearly to product and non-engineering partners.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product managers to shape the roadmap and write specs.
• Prototype quickly with AI tools to create clickable demos.
• Build paywalls, pricing flows, and regional storefronts.
• Collaborate with design, data science, finance, and legal on pricing and regional rules.
• Own staged rollouts end-to-end and monitor guardrails.
• Ship polished, reliable purchase experiences with performance focus.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering practices.
• Mentor engineers and evolve AI-native engineering processes.
