Life360 is hiring an AI-Native Senior Android Engineer II to own end-to-end delivery of multiple experiment surfaces across the Life360 app. You will ship growth and monetization features, including paywalls, pricing tests, ad placement, and IAP flows, while driving AI-native workflows and responsible experimentation.

The role is Android-first, with flexibility to work across platforms as needed, and requires 6+ years of Android experience, plus hands-on AI experimentation.

Competenze

• 6+ years of Android software engineering experience shipping production apps at consumer scale.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience prompting, evaluating, and building with LLMs.
• Strong proficiency with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose and the Android toolchain.
• Experience with Android architecture patterns (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture).
• Experience with mobile experimentation concepts: A/B testing, exposure logging, guardrail metrics.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

Mansioni

• Design and build high-quality Android growth and monetization features and experiments — subscription paywalls and pricing tests, ad placement and mediation experiments, one-time purchase flows, and upsell/upgrade surfaces.
• Partner with product, design, data science, and analytics to translate hypotheses into shippable experiments and use results to drive decisions.
• Work with AI as a collaborator to create specs, generate code and tests, verify results, and perform reviews.
• Instrument experiments with logging and analytics so results downstream are trustworthy.
• Ship polished, performant Android experiences to tens of millions of users with attention to startup time, memory, and crash-free rates.
• Own staged rollouts end-to-end with guardrails and scale decisions.
• Help define AI-native Android engineering practices and playbooks for the broader org.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, code reviews, and ongoing improvement of the Android codebase.
• Participate in on-call rotation and incident response for mobile experiments and releases.
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to team processes and standards.
