Job summary

Warner Music Group seeks a Senior Accountant II - Inventory to manage advanced accounting and reporting for a specific label/affiliate. You’ll contribute to the Record to Report Accounting Team’s monthly close and financial analysis.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance and 5–6 years in Shared Services or corporate accounting, with SAP experience preferred. This position supports audit processes and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5–6 years of experience in Shared Service or Corporate Accounting.
• Experience with SAP in a SOX-controlled environment.
• Experience conducting internal & external audits and SEC reporting.

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly/quarterly financial reporting for US business units with a focus on close processes and accuracy.
• Prepare or post journal entries, monitor sub-ledger interfaces, and ensure timely close deliverables.
• Analyze label artist and copyright royalty expense, ensuring GAAP presentation of assets and liabilities.
• Direct reviews of staff task and journal preparation and maintain SOX compliance.
