Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a detail-oriented Remote Senior Interior Design Architect to support the design team in developing residential projects from concept through documentation. You will draft architectural and interior drawings, layouts, lighting plans, and shop drawings, while preparing design presentations and organizing project files.

The ideal candidate has strong drafting and 3D modeling skills with proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit.

Qualifications

• Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Experience on architectural or interior design projects from concept through installation.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit.

Responsibilities

• Draft residential homes and interior layouts.
• Create lighting plans for design projects.
• Prepare presentations based on the designer's concepts.
• Support the designer with drawings and documentation.
• Create and revise shop drawings for custom elements.
• Revise drawings based on feedback and updates.
• Assist with 3D rendering tasks as applicable.
