Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking a Senior Account Associate - Commercial Lines to support the account team with administrative duties, policy management, renewals, and client service. Remote work is available in Eastern and Central time zones, with occasional onsite work in Longwood, FL as needed.

You will assist in managing renewals, endorsements, loss runs, and underwriting information while maintaining data accuracy in agency systems, aiming for responsive, high-quality service

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service experience in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active licensing, CISR designation preferred

Responsibilities

• Direct and support day-to-day activities of Team Support/Receptionist, Account Assistant, and/or Account Associate.
• Track policy expirations and ensure renewals are processed accurately and on time.
• Handle policy endorsements, audits, cancellations, reinstatements, and related paperwork.
• Support new and renewal business: gather underwriting information, prepare submissions, assist in binding coverage.
• Review contracts to ensure proper coverages are included.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and assist with collections when needed.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor data accuracy.
• Communicate workload status and issues to the account team.
• Deliver proactive, high-quality service and uphold IOA policies and procedures.
• Seek best practices to improve individual and team performance.
