Job summary

Matter Labs is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer to secure the corporate and production infrastructure for ZKsync. You will take ownership of defenses across identity, endpoint, and detection-and-response, working closely with IT and development teams.

Your role will significantly impact the open-source ecosystem, focusing on building durable defenses and fast incident response. Ideal candidates should have strong cloud security, incident response experience, and a passion for decentralized systems, working remotely from any location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on infrastructure or detection-and-response security experience.
• Production experience securing a cloud-based identity and collaboration platform.
• Strong cloud security background with IAM, network controls.

Responsibilities

• Own the security configuration of identity and collaboration stack.
• Build, tune, and maintain detections; design response playbooks.
• Lead and participate in security incident investigations.
