Job summary

ngrok Inc. is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Infra Platform team. You will build and improve the internal platform used by engineers to develop, test, deploy, and operate ngrok, applying software-engineering discipline to infrastructure.

You will work with Go, AWS, Kubernetes, and modern tooling to ensure reliability, observability, and scalable systems, mentoring teammates and shaping the architecture over time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a software engineer.
• Built and operated distributed systems in AWS or other cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Go, Rust, C++, or Java (Go bonus).
• You view infrastructure as software and care about developer experience and scalable systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve the engineering platform for ngrok engineers.
• Treat infrastructure like software and automate workflows for reliability at scale.
• Improve the developer experience with builder tools, CI/CD and internal abstractions.
• Help keep production healthy through observability, reliability, and incident response.
