d-Matrix in the United States is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own the first response for Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD runners, and compute environments behind our demos. You will diagnose, fix, and coordinate with IT or product groups when root causes involve other teams.

You’ll turn recurring issues into automation and runbooks. The role emphasizes on-call coverage, monitoring improvements, and design contributions as your scope grows.

Qualifications

• 2+ years operating production Linux systems with Kubernetes
• Strong debugging approach: form hypotheses and test across layers
• Scripting in Python or Bash for automation
• Familiarity with CI/CD systems (GitLab preferred)
• Working knowledge of DNS, routing, load balancing, TLS
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools
• Clear communication under pressure during incidents
• Drive to learn unfamiliar systems and AI hardware acceleration

Responsibilities

• Own first response and resolution for issues across Kubernetes clusters, GitLab and CI runners, VMs, standalone systems, and demo environments
• Triage across IT and product groups when root cause sits elsewhere
• Convert recurring issues into automation, alerts, and runbooks to reduce incidents
• Improve monitoring and alerting to speed problem detection
• Perform routine operational tasks: upgrades, patches, cert renewals, capacity checks
• Ship automation and improvements beyond individual fixes
• Participate in on-call coverage for the environment
• Contribute to design and build work across the team’s systems as scope grows
