Job summary

D2B is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer for a fully remote role focused on maintaining a Kubernetes-based hosting platform and AWS infrastructure powering client websites. You will migrate apps into Kubernetes, optimize CI/CD pipelines, and ensure reliability, security, and scalability while collaborating with a small team.

The role emphasizes automation, incident response, and governance with ISO 27001/SOC 2 compliance experiences and strong scripting abilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong Linux systems administration and scripting/automation skills.
• Hands-on Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS experience.
• Experience migrating/configuring apps in Kubernetes; CI/CD deployment automation.
• Security, IAM, least-privilege, ISO 27001/SOC 2 exposure; governed environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a Kubernetes-based hosting platform and AWS infra for web apps.
• Migrate and optimize client apps into Kubernetes; manage CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor, respond to outages and security events; proactive issue resolution.
• Manage identity/access across Google Workspace, Atlassian, hosting tools, VCS.
• Support onboarding/offboarding and manage cloud costs; automation initiatives.
