Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer, Infrastructure to join a leader in IT. The role focuses on reliability, efficiency, and scalability of core software delivery infrastructure, partnering with engineers to streamline CI/CD workflows and tooling.

You will own critical automation systems with emphasis on secure, sustainable, high-performing delivery processes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only; compensation ranges from $140,000 to $215,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or software engineering.
• Proficient in Golang.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and CI/CD best practices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling.
• Proficient with Linux and cloud services.
• Experience leveraging AI to enhance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Enhance CI/CD systems to improve software delivery efficiency.
• Develop and maintain critical pipelines using workflow automation tools.
• Research and introduce innovative tooling solutions for developer productivity.
• Design integration strategies for new tools in the development environment.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify bottlenecks and gather requirements.
• Ensure adherence to best practices for sustainability and security.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for CI/CD system operations.
