Job summary

Kaiser Aluminum is seeking a Corporate Hydraulic Engineer to provide enterprise-wide technical leadership for hydraulic systems across multiple operations. You will develop standards, guide maintenance strategies, and lead complex troubleshooting to improve reliability and reduce lifecycle costs.

Remote position with location in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, California or Washington. Travel 25–50% to plants and project sites is expected; PE license is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Agricultural, Industrial Engineering or related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide enterprise-wide hydraulic leadership and standards.
  • Lead reliability and maintenance strategies for hydraulic systems.
  • Support capital projects and equipment upgrades.
  • Perform RCFA and develop corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and OEMs.
