Sr Business Analyst - Healthcare is a remote, contract position with Eliassen Group. The role supports a large health plan initiative, elicating and managing requirements for complex healthcare processes, including medical appeals, claims, and plan implementations. W2 benefits and a comprehensive package are available.

Rate ranges from $35.00 to $40.00 per hour. The analyst will work with cross-functional teams, ensure traceability, drive readiness, and support training and post-implementation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related business analysis experience; healthcare/insurance domain preferred.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management in high-pressure environments.
• Experience with data flow modeling, use-case analysis, workflow analysis, and business process mapping.

Responsabilités

• Elicit, analyze, document, and manage business and functional requirements for complex initiatives.
• Develop requirements approaches and management plans aligned to project plans.
• Communicate and validate requirements with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Maintain solution scope and requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Drive business readiness activities, including communication planning for changes to technology, processes, and people.
• Support and coordinate training to ensure efficient implementations and desired outcomes.
• Develop procedures and specifications for systems or process changes and coordinate cross‑functional implementation.
• Design and conduct post‑implementation audits and implement customer feedback mechanisms.
• Analyze workflow processes, design and test solutions, and assess organizational impacts.
• Manage requirements change requests and maintain documentation.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools to measure performance and ensure data integrity.
• Present results and insights to business stakeholders and leadership.
• Identify business risks, recommend mitigation strategies, and escalation when necessary.
• Build and support vendor relationships and assist with training as needed.
• Provide oversight and peer reviews for less experienced analysts.
