Job summary

Linktree is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to join the Growth team in Los Angeles, helping millions of creators and businesses maximize activation, engagement, and retention. You’ll own experiments, ship surfaces, and build scalable systems close to metrics.

Collaborate with product, design, and data partners, design APIs, integrate AI where it adds value, and mentor others while improving reliability and observability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience on growth or lifecycle-focused teams.
• Strong product sense with experience running or contributing to A/B tests.
• Full-stack skills across TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL/MySQL, GraphQL, AWS.
• Experience designing services and APIs in cloud-based architectures.
• Proficient with data: SQL, data modeling, and data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Familiar with AI-assisted development and applying AI to products.
• Excellent collaboration and communication with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship growth experiments from hypothesis to measurement.
• Partner with product, design, and data science to create a technical roadmap.
• Work across onboarding, promotions, and re-engagement flows.
• Design, build, and integrate services and APIs behind growth work.
• Instrument product usage data and surface actionable insights.
• Bring AI into the product experience where appropriate.
• Improve reliability, scalability, and observability of growth systems.
• Mentor peers on experimentation best practices.
