Job summary

Linktree is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Growth (Activation) team to help millions of creators and businesses get more out of Linktree. You will own experiments spanning activation, engagement, and retention, collaborating with product, design, and data to drive a data-informed technical roadmap.

You’ll work across onboarding flows, in-product promotions, and re-engagement campaigns, building scalable services and APIs, and bringing AI into the product experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, preferably including growth/activation teams.
• Strong product sense with experience running or contributing to A/B tests and experiments.
• Solid full-stack skills across TypeScript, Node.js, React, PostgreSQL or MySQL, GraphQL, AWS; willing to move across the stack.
• Experience designing and integrating services and APIs in cloud-based architectures.
• Comfort with data: SQL, data modeling, and working with data warehouses to inform decisions.
• Fluency with AI-assisted development tools and applying AI within product experiences.
• Excellent collaboration and ability to influence direction through data and technical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship experiments that improve activation, engagement, and retention for users.
• Partner with product, design, and data to identify growth opportunities and translate them into a technical roadmap.
• Work across onboarding, in-product promotions, and re-engagement campaigns.
• Design, build, and integrate systems, services, and APIs behind growth projects and integrations.
• Instrument and analyze product usage data to surface actionable insights.
• Incorporate AI where it adds value to the product experience.
• Improve reliability, scalability, and observability of growth systems.
• Mentor peers on experimentation best practices and foster a strong engineering culture.
