Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager for the Worldwide Grocery Stores Enterprise Team. You will own large-scale remodel programs across multiple regions, leading preconstruction through closeout while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and budget.

This remote-by-design role requires 75-80% travel and seamless coordination with Design, Operations, Equipment, Refrigeration, and Facilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial/business analysis.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region.
• 6+ years of Construction Project Management experience.
• 3+ years using construction and project management tools (e.g., Procore, Smartsheet, Bluebeam, MS Project).
• Experience executing major remodels within active grocery/retail store environments.
• Experience in budget development, schedule management, and cost controls.
• Experience with landlord scope of work and commercial contracts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver enterprise-scale remodels on time and on budget within operating store environments.
• Independently manage scope, schedule, and budget for complex programs.
• Apply enterprise standards across dispersed projects while respecting local regulations.
• Coordinate across Design, Operations, Equipment, Refrigeration, and Commissioning.
• Monitor MEP systems, refrigeration infrastructure, and construction quality.
• Influence and negotiate with internal partners, GCs, landlords, and authorities.
• Optimize project costs while maintaining quality and brand standards.
• Manage phased construction to minimize disruption to store operations.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, and contract compliance.
• Coordinate permitting, OFI equipment, refrigeration systems, and inspections.
• Ensure safety and compliance with life safety, OSHA, and food safety.
• Mentor team members and share best practices.
• Contribute to improving Construction SOPs and bidding procedures.
