Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager within the WWGS, Enterprise Team, to own large-scale remodels across regions. You will lead projects from preconstruction through closeout in operating stores, balancing quality, schedule, and budget while navigating complex refrigeration and food safety needs.

You will travel 75-80% and work remotely by design, coordinating with Design, Operations, Equipment, and Facilities teams to deliver best-in-class grocery environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Construction Project Management with budget and scheduling.
• Experience executing major remodels in active grocery/retail environments.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations for your region.
• 3+ years using construction and project management tools (Procore, Smartsheet, Bluebeam, MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Deliver enterprise-scale remodels on time and on budget in operating stores.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget with minimal oversight.
• Apply enterprise standards while respecting local jurisdiction.
• Coordinate across Design, Operations, Equipment, Refrigeration, and Commissioning.
• Monitor MEP, refrigeration, and construction quality.
• Negotiate with internal partners, GC, landlord reps, and authorities.
• Optimize costs while upholding brand standards.
• Align sequencing to minimize store disruption.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, and contract compliance.
• Oversee permits, OFI equipment, refrigeration lead times.
• Mentor team and drive SOP improvements.
