Responsibilities

• Integrates grant requirements into the program and monitors processes. Develops and maintains internal records and systems to support program management.
• Monitors budgets and spending, collaborates with financial management staff; responsible for all budget reporting, including forecasting and reporting on variances.
• Coordinates program budget development and facilitation in collaboration with Mission Advancement, the Office of Funded Programs, and leadership teams.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures, analyze financial activity, and provide variance reporting, forecasting, and reconciliation guidance.
• Coordinates work with key internal stakeholders across staff functions to ensure activities align with AHA policy.
• Develop and maintain internal systems, controls, and documentation to support audit readiness and effective program management.
• Act as the Voices technology coordinator, partnering with Business Technologies to optimize systems for grantmaking and reporting.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and grantees.
• Lead or contribute to cross-functional initiatives and project teams requiring coordination and change management.
• Contributes to operational planning for grant-making through innovation and system enhancements.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and oversight to team members; may serve as team lead or player/coach capacity.
