Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Senior Grant Accountant for a fully remote role. You will own the financial management of grants and contracts, including ledgers, revenues, expenses, budgets, forecasts, and audits, while ensuring funder compliance.

Required is at least 3 years of related accounting or grant finance experience, with a preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance. A CPA or CGFM is a plus but not required.

• Minimum 3 years of related accounting or grant finance experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial side of grants and contracts, including ledgers, revenues, expenses, budgets, forecasting, cost allocations, reporting, compliance, and audit support.
• Partner with program teams to help them understand funding and keep grants on track financially.
