Job summary

Syms Strategic Group, LLC is seeking a Senior Functional Analyst for a Remote federal opportunity. Must have strong experience with SAFe/Agile and be able to lead requirements gathering for software development teams in a government context.

You will work with business users, IT, and leadership to elaborate and document requirements, manage them in ALM tools (JIRA), and define acceptance criteria. Prior federal government experience and a Public Trust (MBI) clearance are highly valued.

Qualifications

Must have strong software development background and SAFe experience.
Excellent written and oral communication with the ability to explain complex topics to diverse audiences.
Strong attention to detail, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.
10 years of professional experience preferred; experience substituted by education as allowed.

Responsibilities

Lead capture of business requirements for software development teams.
Document requirements in an ALM tool and manage them throughout the lifecycle.
Perform Agile requirement management and write acceptance criteria.
Collaborate with customers, IT, and leadership to elicit and refine requirements.
Coordinate with Systems Engineers to assess impact on technical solutions.
Provide clear status and metrics across the Agile product lifecycle.
