Job summary

Expression seeks a Senior Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain web-based applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies. You will work with small, feature-focused teams to engineer solutions and mentor team members, collaborating with data scientists, DevSecOps engineers, and product designers to contribute to an Agile development process.

Fully remote, full-time role; US citizenship required for security clearance; DoD Secret clearance is nice to have but optional.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Senior-level proficiency with React frontend development and component design.
• Senior-level proficiency with Express.js backend, GraphQL/REST, and ORMs.
• Senior-level experience with TypeScript and typing concepts.
• Proficient Git usage and GitFlow for release management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using React and Express.js.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers and review code quality.
• Collaborate with data scientists, DevSecOps, and product designers in Agile processes.
