Job summary

Outlive is hiring a Senior Full Stack Engineer to shape product experiences across mobile, web, and backend services. This remote role is open to candidates worldwide, with responsibilities spanning UX data modeling, API design, and deployment to deliver end-to-end features.

You will contribute across the stack, lead initiatives when needed, and help build a HIPAA-aware health platform focused on long-term risk reduction and behavior change.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong experience across frontend and backend development.
• Production experience with React (web and/or React Native).
• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and consuming REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of relational data modeling and ORMs.
• Strong grasp of authentication, authorization, and security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end implementation of product features spanning mobile, web, and backend services.
• Collaborate with product and design to translate health concepts into clear experiences.
• Drive technical decisions balancing speed, quality, and maintainability.
• Mentor mid-level engineers and contribute to engineering standards.
