Job summary

LegalNature is seeking a skilled frontend/backend engineer to join our fully remote team. You’ll build brand new features end-to-end for our users and internal teams, focusing on performance and maintainability.

Our stack includes Nuxt 2/3, Rails, Docker, and AWS. You’ll contribute to architecture, improve tests and pipelines, and help upgrade our Nuxt frontend while collaborating with a global, self-motivated team.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years JavaScript experience, ideally with Vue/Nuxt.
• At least 3 years experience with Rails.
• You're a self starter and can work on a fully remote team and manage your own time.
• You get along with others and thrive in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Build brand new products and features from start to finish, for both our end users and our internal team.
• Propose & implement architectural improvements - our internal app is on Nuxt 3, but our user facing app is on Nuxt 2 and we want to upgrade soon.
• Improve our testing & build pipeline. We strongly believe in investment in tools for engineering and the team as a whole.
• Focus on pagespeed to make our Nuxt apps among the fastest.
