Job summary

Owner is seeking a mission-driven senior engineer to own the frontend and backend experience across the onboarding, activation, and upgrade flows. This 100% remote role can be based anywhere in the United States and Canada.

You will work with React, Next.js, TypeScript on frontend and Node.js with MongoDB/PostgreSQL on backend, building AI-assisted setup moments and upgrade prompts to drive self-serve ARR. The role offers a competitive base salary of $210K-$230K plus generous pre-IPO equity and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with customer-facing features.
• Extensive TypeScript experience with React; comfortable owning full frontend of a feature.
• Experience scaling with React/Next.js and/or Node.js/MongoDB stack.

Responsibilities

• Own the launch experience end-to-end — surfaces, flows, and communications that move owners from Grader to live on Owner with trust.
• Increase launches by building automation, tooling, and AI-assisted setup to reduce manual effort.
• Grow self-serve ARR by enabling upgrade flows and AI moments for owners to adopt more of the platform.
• Surface evidence of value at each step and justify the next actions.
• Partner with AI Agents and Owner App teams to integrate AI-powered features into the launch journey.
