Job summary

Fieldguide, a remote-first company based in San Francisco, seeks an Audit Methodology Lead to define and operationalize methodology content in collaboration with partner firms. You will translate professional standards into structured, platform-ready workflows and guardrails for AI-powered auditing tools.

You will work with product and engineering teams to ensure rigorous testing, continuous updates, and alignment with US GAAS and PCAOB standards, while supporting firm-specific customizations

Qualifications

• CPA certification is required.
• 5+ years of public accounting experience.
• Strong expertise in GAAS and PCAOB.
• Experience with audit technology, automation or AI-enabled tools.
• Ability to translate professional standards into structured workflows and prompts.
• Familiarity with cross-functional product/engineering collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define and shape Fieldguide's out-of-the-box methodology content in collaboration with partners.
• Configure and translate partner-sourced methodology content into usable platform workflows.
• Incorporate US GAAS, PCAOB standards and other frameworks into organized content.
• Incorporate industry procedures and testing approaches into the methodology library.
• Review and refine methodology content with auditor feedback from real-world use.
• Partner with AI teams to translate standards into prompts, workflows and guardrails.
