Job summary

Postscript is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a fully remote role based in the US or Canada. You will own core systems, design scalable backend services, and drive AI-powered development, collaborating across product, data, and GTM teams.

You will work with a modern stack including TypeScript, React, SQL, Kubernetes, Python, Rust, and Go, delivering high-quality distributed systems and APIs with autonomy.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience building large-scale backend systems and APIs.
• Proficient in TypeScript, Python, Go, and relational/NoSQL databases.
• Active user of AI coding tools and operator of autonomous workflows.
• Strong understanding of architecture, design, and data modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own and design large portions of distributed backend services and APIs.
• Architect, build, and maintain scalable REST APIs for internal and external use.
• Drive system decoupling and reduce technical debt for long-term maintainability.
• Lead initiatives to improve tooling, workflows, and developer experience.
• Collaborate with product, data, and GTM teams in an async environment.
• Evaluate AI tooling and integrate AI-driven efficiency into daily work.
