Job summary

Propelis is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join the Operations Finance team. Location flexibility includes Chicago, Pittsburgh, or Louisville, with occasional travel for in-person sessions.

The role emphasizes financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and acquisition support, reporting to the VP of Finance. The ideal candidate has 4–6+ years in finance, advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, and proficiency with ERP/board tools.

Qualifications

• BA in Finance/Accounting or quantitative field; MBA/CPA a plus.
• 4-6+ years of experience in a similar finance role.
• Strong financial modeling and variance analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models and reports for finance and leadership teams.
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Own budgeting and forecasting process with global finance and operations partners.
• Provide decision support with detailed analysis and reports for management.
• Assist with acquisitions (Due diligence, valuation, integration) and ad-hoc analyses.
• Identify and implement system/process improvements to enhance finance function.
• Limited travel (<5%) and in-person sessions 3-4 times a year in Louisville, Pittsburgh or Chicago.
