Job summary

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to oversee remote service operations with up to 40-50% travel. You will manage fleet managers and administrators across regional sites, ensuring uptime, safety, and KPI performance for a large heavy-duty fleet.

Ideal candidates have extensive diesel repair and fleet management experience, strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and the ability to coordinate billing, reporting, and customer feedback.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Ten or more years of relevant experience in managing large fleets and maintenance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent delivery of customer KPIs/SLAs and drive customer experience, quality, and compliance.
• Lead operations team and drive delivery of overall metrics and targets.
• Foster client relationships and align with client expectations.
• Oversee daily reporting and site productivity, scheduling, and status of equipment.
• Plan repairs, coordinate parts/inventory across footprint.
• Develop operational talent with safety/training collaboration.
• Communicate performance and needs clearly to teams.
