Qualifikationen

• US citizenship; ability to obtain Public Trust clearance; work within the United States.
• All work performed in the United States; no international work.
• Bachelor’s degree + 8 years, Master’s +6, PhD +3, Associate +10, or HS diploma +12 years.
• 5+ years hands‑on cloud engineering, incl. 2+ years FinOps.
• Knowledge of FinOps Foundation practices (Tokenomics, FOCUS, tagging).
• Experience with AWS cost attribution, budgets, reporting in multi-account AWS.
• Ability to build recurring cloud cost reports and optimization deliverables.
• Proficiency with AWS Cost Management tools (Cost Explorer, Budgets, Cost Anomaly, Trusted Advisor).
• Understanding Bedrock or other token-based AI cost models.
• Experience with Databricks or similar cost management.

Aufgaben

• Produce monthly FinOps reports including cloud and AI consumption forecasts vs. actuals, unit economics, and Government-facing chargeback views aligned to contract deliverables.
• Configure and manage AWS Budgets, Cost Explorer, Cost Anomaly Detection, and Trusted Advisor to monitor spending, identify anomalies, and enforce financial guardrails.
• Develop quarterly rightsizing packages, identifying underutilized or over‑provisioned resources and presenting optimization strategies to Government stakeholders.
• Implement and enforce auto‑suspend policies for non‑production environments to reduce idle costs.
• Manage AI/ML cost tracking for Amazon Bedrock LLM inference and token consumption, applying FinOps for AI disciplines.
• Issue Limitation of Funds notifications at the 75% consumption threshold and provide 60‑day advance warning before funding exhaustion.
• Maintain compliance with FedRAMP Moderate, FISMA, NIST SP 800‑53, and all applicable security policies.
• Complete mandatory annual DOI IT Security Awareness Training and execute required Rules of Behavior.
