Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Senior FinOps Engineer to serve as the primary financial operations authority for a multi-environment AWS cloud platform. This role supports the DOI USGS Permitting Modernization and Cloud Infrastructure program and enables remote work within the United States on a FedRAMP-compliant federal environment.

You will produce monthly FinOps reports on cloud/AI consumption, manage AWS Budgets, Cost Explorer, Anomaly Detection, and Trusted Advisor, and implement auto-suspend

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 8+ years in IT/cloud environments.
• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AWS cost management tools and FinOps practices.
