Job summary

ICF seeks a Senior FinOps Analyst to support the Summit program, focusing on cloud financial management for a large federal data and analytics platform. The role is remote with a strong preference for candidates in the Washington DC Metro Area, with occasional onsite meetings in Washington, DC.

You will develop FinOps dashboards, analyze cloud spend, build forecasts, and collaborate with product operations, engineering, data, and leadership to surface cost impacts of architecture and workloads.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and authorization to work in the U.S.
• Residence in the U.S. with at least 3 years in the last 5 years.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• At least 6 years of dashboard, reporting, and analytics experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain FinOps dashboards and executive reporting on cloud spend and performance.
• Analyze cloud consumption to identify cost optimization and efficiency opportunities.
• Build cloud cost forecasts and compare actual spend with projections.
• Translate cloud cost data into actionable recommendations for teams and leadership.
• Define metrics and reporting to improve accountability and visibility into cloud consumption.
• Support FinOps practices including cost allocation, forecasting, optimization, and governance.
