Job summary

ICF is seeking a Senior FinOps Analyst to provide cloud financial management across the Summit program. The role focuses on transparency of cloud cost, utilization, and performance, partnering with product operations, engineering, and data teams to identify efficiency opportunities.

The position supports a cloud-based data and AI/ML platform used by thousands of users, with remote work preferred in the United States and occasional onsite client meetings in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and ability to work in the U.S. required.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in dashboards, reports, and analytics.
• Bachelor's degree or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Master's degree may substitute for two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain FinOps dashboards and executive reporting for cloud spend, utilization, trends, and performance.
• Analyze cloud consumption and identify cost optimization, rightsizing, and efficiency opportunities.
• Develop cloud cost forecasts and compare actual spend to projected usage and demand.
• Evaluate cost-performance tradeoffs for architecture, platform, data, and AI/ML decisions.
• Analyze Azure and Databricks consumption and cost patterns to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
• Partner with Product Operations and technical leads to reveal cost impact of planned work before commitments.
• Track and document cost savings and optimization results after implementation.
