Humana is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Professional to prepare, analyze, and distribute financial statements for internal and external stakeholders. The role focuses on interpreting results, reconciling accounts, and translating complex data into clear insights.

You will use advanced Excel and SQL to organize large data sets, develop repeatable processes, and support accurate reporting. This remote position may require occasional travel to Louisville, KY; 40-hour weeks; and a bonus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• 5+ years in health/finance/accounting or technical insurance.
• Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, formulas, lookups, data modeling, and large data analysis.
• Strong SQL experience: writing queries, data troubleshooting, reporting data extraction.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience facilitating and leading meetings with senior leadership.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, analyze, and distribute financial statements and management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure reports comply with government regulations, standards, and policies.
• Prepare consolidation journal entries and eliminate intercompany transactions.
• Consolidate divisional and subsidiary accounts for internal/external statements.
• Use Excel/SQL to organize, validate, reconcile, and analyze large data sets; develop repeatable processes.
• Manage multiple priorities, track deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
