Humana is seeking a Senior Financial Analytics Professional to manage data supporting daily operations, strategic planning and performance issues. You will tackle moderately complex to complex analyses to influence decisions.

You will collect, model, and present financial information, forecast trends, and advise executives on strategic actions. This remote role includes periodic travel to Humana offices for collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of general accounting and financial management experience.
• Experience compiling, modeling, interpreting and analyzing data to identify, explain variances and trends.
• Ability to explain variances and trends and enhance modeling techniques.
• Experience managing data to support and influence decisions on daily operations, strategic planning and performance issues.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and economic indicators for strategic and operational decisions.
• Present results to senior management weekly, monthly, quarterly.
• Analyze the financial implications of proposed budgets and explain variances and trends.
• Forecast short, medium, and long-term financial position from industry, economic, financial, and market trends.
• Influence department strategy and develop analysis on expenses, costs and investments.
• May involve financial modeling, reporting and budgeting.
• Advise executives to develop functional strategies on matters of significance.
• Work with Tech leadership on business case analysis and return on investments.
