For this role, you should have a strong finance and accounting background, including experience interpreting financial results, researching variances, reconciling accounts, and translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors, sound financial judgment, and close attention to accuracy.The Senior Financial Reporting Professional ensures all reports and disclosures comply with applicable government regulations, professional standards, and organizational policies. The professional prepares consolidation journal entries, eliminates intercompany transactions, and consolidates divisional and subsidiary financial accounts on a timely and accurate basis for inclusion in internal and external financial statements. You will use advanced Excel and SQL skills to organize, validate, reconcile, and analyze large financial data sets; develop repeatable reporting processes; identify trends and exceptions; and support efficient, accurate reporting. The professional manages multiple recurring and ad hoc priorities each day, maintains organized documentation, tracks deadlines and dependencies, and adjusts quickly as business needs change.
