Job summary

Humana is seeking a Senior Financial Analytics Professional to manage data driving daily operations and strategic planning. You will tackle complex analyses, forecast financial positions, and influence department strategy with actionable insights. Remote work is offered with periodic travel to Humana offices.

The role requires 3+ years in accounting/finance, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong data modeling capabilities. Master’s degree and PM certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and indicators for strategic decisions.
• Analyze data to identify variances and trends supporting operational planning.
• Provide budgeting, forecasting and financial modeling where needed.
• Interpret results and explain implications to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collect, compile, verify, and analyze financial information and economic indicators for strategic decisions on budget planning, capex and divestitures.
• Present results to senior management weekly, monthly and quarterly.
• Analyze implications of proposed budgets and explain variances and trends.
• Forecast financial and market trends to inform short-, medium-, and long-term decisions.
• Influence department strategy with analysis on expenses, costs, and investments.
• Engage in financial modeling, reporting, and budgeting as needed.
• Advise executives to develop functional strategies on significant matters.
• Collaborate with Tech leadership on ROI and business cases.
